Times article about Aspergers

It was in the magazine last week and was written by Sophie Walker who has also written a book about about training for marathons while raising her daughter who has Aspergers. Its a really good article & the first paragraph about a daily battle over teeth brushing got to me as thats what happens in our house.

I've got a Times subscription (posh eh?) and I've copied & pasted stuff for people before. Let me know if you want it but replying on this thread & I'll pm everyone with it in the morning.

Thanks, Babe.

A lot of that was awfully familiar (Apart from the running. Oh no. Never. Not ever!)

Hey ouryve - never say never! you're talking to the person who used to fake ankle injuries every P.E. session.. now i can't imagine life without that precious time just listening to my heartbeat and enjoying watching the trees and the sky in peace -- that, and the ginormous plate of pasta i'm about to eat guilt-free ahead of tomorro morning's six miles Wink

I really do have endless ankle injuries - HMS is so lovely (not). I could have kissed my rheumatologist when he told me to try to never run.
