I haven't really joined in much with the antenatal lot this time but am worried I'll miss the distraction of MNing in labour as it was useful last time.

Although, you lot go to bed earlier than the main board so I may 'just' get stuck with Wetty and Fallen..... Oh well! Grin

DameHermione · 07/05/2012 21:57

StarshitTerrorise · 07/05/2012 22:00

We can take bets on what LA action will ensue when I post that I am though......

Half term. Oooh not long. Gritty question. How are you planning on giving birth?

DameHermione · 07/05/2012 22:02

have you requested (in triplicate) at least 6 months in advance that you are 'allowed' to labour? Do you have the proper permission?

StarshitTerrorise · 07/05/2012 22:04

Sally, I've pretty much decided against vaginal and c/section so - you know me - I'm currently exploring creative and radical solutions!

Yes you must follow correct departmental procedure and protocol regarding breathing techniques and pain relief.

SallyBear · 07/05/2012 22:06

So you are really a Hollywood Star with a surrogate!

StarshitTerrorise · 07/05/2012 22:09

Dame, I don't have written permission. My failure to notify them when I go into labour will No doubt be alluded to as dishonest behaviour in tribunal submission documents.

Shame you can't arrange for DameHermione to be your private MW. Would save all the faffing about with 2 PCTs. Don't forget to have your home birth prepared for, just in case it doesn't all go to plan. Wink Blinking 3rd labours....

StarshitTerrorise · 07/05/2012 22:25

Currently 3 PCTs actually......... Just DON'T ask!

TheTimeTravellersWife · 07/05/2012 22:32

We probably go to bed earlier because we are all so bloody exhausted!

StarshitTerrorise · 07/05/2012 22:35

Yes, I know TTTW! Smile

mummytofive · 07/05/2012 22:36

3 PCTs now? I can better that, ds4 was born in the fast lane of the m1. You would not believe the complications of it as that stretch is on a crossroads of many counties. His birth certificate took alot longer than the labour to sort out!

is there a smiley/emphasis icon for labour? you are going to need it!
and i think yr LEA probably have a web cam live all ready on you by the sounds of it!
seriously, good luck. xx

StarshitTerrorise · 07/05/2012 22:36

Well dd (3) wants to call him Baby Alexander, so I asked her what we should then call him when he's no longer a baby. She replied 'William'!

OP posts:
TheTimeTravellersWife · 07/05/2012 22:40

DD has a creative view of childbirth, she thinks that babies come out of your navel, that it just kind of opens up and out they come. I don't think that I want to disabuse her of that idea just at the moment....Smile

mummytofive · 07/05/2012 22:44

she sounds a true royalist! my dd3 always wanted the names of her best friends! but dh liked leggy blonde actresses names. prob something to do with being married to a stumpy bruennete...

coff33pot · 07/05/2012 23:18

DD didnt want DS because he was a boy and said she would rather swap him for a cat!
