As some of you know, ds aged 5 has mild left hemi and wears an afo. He's been dry in the day for a year now, tho wears nappies at night. In the past 6 wks he is getting 'poo leakage'in the day. He is getting VERY upset and says it 'just comes out and i can't feel it' Any advice anyone? Our paed is pretty useless, anyone know a good one we can see privately anywhere? I'm gutted about it to be honest.Thanks girls xx

Hi Lou - how was Thailand? am ok now that we have been told ds doesn't have a spinal tumour or spina bifida as it was looking that way! Got surgeon appt on Friday, dread it as think they are gonna want to pput a camera in him. But it'll have to be after our hol as we go Saturday. xx

Thailand was fanbloodytastic. I ended up travelling down to the MAlaysian border and back.

I'm so pleased you got a good outcome, and good luck for the appointment. Where are you going btw?

how did she get on with it?

ds2's posture is getting worse, he is developing a scoliosis and his muscle tone is shit from the waist down

No he doesn't have a lycra suit Lou, at the mo, he not 'bad' enough for it! Muscle tone is getting worse by the week at the mo tho' :(

Sorry Twokids, didn't realise she was at Chailey for schooling, thought it was for treatment. What type of CP does she have, if you don't mind me asking

10 she will be 11 next month. I can't believe it she will be moving up to secondry in september.
