Child at Ds school had to helicopter'd to hospital today

and it doesn't loook good.
I feel totally and utterly sick. The little boy is in yr1 so would be 5/6 the same age as DD.

I knew that being a SN school it was possible for children to become terminally ill, but the reality of it has really hit me.

I have a friend who is a teacher in a SN school & they lost a child last term, it was devastating .

I just feel so bad for the poor parents.

To lose a child is awful but for it to happen whilst at school so you not be there must be just the worst thing.

I am not looking forward to reading anything DS brings home tomorrow

note came home today to say that the little boy is in Intensive care but is responding to treatment.

I am very very saddened to have to tell you all that the little boy passed away last night.

I can only imagine what his poor parents must be going through.
