LA ass totally kicked!

We won our Tribunal.

We got everything that we wanted, SALT, OT, 1:1 LSA, everything.

Can't find words to describe how happy I am!

My child now finally has the same opportunities as other children to learn. Nothing more, nothing less.

But I am so very angry that I had to fight so hard and it has taken so long to get what my child should have had as of right!

So to all Tribunal goers, you can do it! Go Kick LA Ass!

Brilliant news! I agree that we shouldn't have all these battles to fight just to get our children a suitable education. I was looking forward to going to tribunal myself but LA decided to assess before I even started on the paperwork! Well done you for kicking their ass.

Yes, it's a bloody shame we have to fight for this but thank goodness for all the advice available here and through the helplines.

Congratulations!!!

Is it worth complaining to the Local Govt Ombudsman that the LA unnecessarily caused you distress by forcing you to take them to SENDIST to obtain what they knew they should have provided?

Just a thought?
