Is it too hot for a sling?

DD velcro baby @7weeks. Don't think she'd go in pushchair even if we had one - is it cruel/wrong/dangerous to sling her in this weather?

Yes I'd go for a gauze wrap.

If you want something more structured, a Wilkinet is about the same amount of covering as a baby bjorn type thing, but is made completely of cotton, so is breathable, and much better for their spine/hip position, and your back. You tie it like a mei-tai, rather than it having buckles, but it's pretty easy to use. You can do back carries with it too, but I found that DS was too heavy in it by about a year or so. They are cheap on ebay though.
