Baby wearing in the summer or pram?

I have been wearing dd in a sling since birth (sometimes a k’tan, sometimes the ergo omni 360) and I absolutely love the closeness of it. I carry her comfortably between 3 and 4 hours a day and have never felt the need for a pram before, even though she is a big baby (8 kg) But with the weather getting warmer, I think she is starting to be uncomfortable sometimes. She wakes up from her naps after 20 mins with puffy red cheeks and pulls away from me, so I have started wondering if maybe she’d enjoy being in a pram. However I am scared of losing that very special closeness & also worried I won’t be used to carry her anymore and it will become too hard after. Anyone experienced something similar?

How old is she, OP? Maybe it's something to think about for hot days? It must be a bit sticky for you, too. But if it's something she's been doing and enjoying for some time I wouldn't think it would become too hard to do again afterwards.

Maybe just babywear for a short time each day if you're both enjoying it and then go back to doing it more again in winter?

In very hot weather they can get a bit hot and bothered in the slings that completely encompass them. Might be worth looking at something more like a carrier that is slightly more 'breathable' for summer too?

Anyone else got any good ideas?
