Am new ish to SW. Have lost 10lbs.....gained 0.5lbs in 3 weeks.

Don't know why I gained as I have stuck to it completely. Confused

So, I am thinking of doing SP days.

Anyone done it? Any tips? Anyone want to join me? Smile

I will give it a go! I have weigh in Friday so will start then. I've not tried before so may be a bit of trial and error!

Hi calzone. 10lb in 3 weeks is fab!
Try looking at your losses over a month. It might be fluid because of hormones. I sts this week, its not 'grumpy week' but my bloaty week.
I follow sp on Mon & Tues, wi day is Wednesday. It helps me with the weekend overs. I'm not sure I could do it 7 days.
I try to make free stodge food.
meat & veg stew, swede topped cottage pie with mushy peas, vegetable soup with chunks, I add some milk for protein/cream effect and 1 small potato for thickness.
Things that are filling. I have them for lunch and dinner. Salad doesn't do it for me.
I'll be trying my best for a couple is days falling of the sw wagon, wine last night.Grin.

I've done it for 4 weeks full time. I love it, carbs are my downfall. People seem to be really wary of it but once you get your head around it, it's fine. I have been substituting carbs with cauliflower rice, swede and celeriac mash, butternut squash and cabbage.

Hi everyone!
Am going to SP on Mon/Tue like Annie does. Weigh in on Wed.

Eggs for breakfast with fried mushrooms and tomatoes.

Lunch will be veggie soup.

Dinner could be cottage pie with celeriac mash.

Lots of water.

Does that sound OK?

I'm 'not allowed' to do SP for medical reasons, but I used to be able to easily lose 5-7lb in a week doing original/red days, which were similar, even if I had one noght out with lots of alcohol and a kebab in that week.

I lost a pound last week and so would like a much better loss this week so am going to do extra easy but with far fewer carbs, so somewhere in between the two plans I suppose.

Gearing up for tomorrow to do SP on Mon, Tue, Wed.

Meal plan.....

B....poached eggs and beans

L....chicken salad

D.....something quorn with vegetables

Snack.....HEB.....grape nuts and sk milk
Drinking just water

Hi I'm also going to try SP Mon, Tues and Wed as my weigh in day is Wednesday.
Tomorrow i plan on having shreddies and skimmed milk for breakfast
Speed vegetable soup and a slice of wholemeal bread for lunch with some fruit after and cottage pie with swede mash for tea. I'll do a big fruit salad for the evening to snack on.

Can you have cereal on SP? I thought you had to choose HEBs with an S next to them. Am I wrong? I had an Alpen light today, not really sure what else to have as I'm not keen on ryvita.

SP means Speed and Protein.

Supposed to eat just the foods with an S or a P.....half and half.

Consultant said you can pick any A&B choices. So Allen light is OK.

Gymnast, a simple explanation of sp day.
On an SP day pick foods that are on the speed list (S) and on the protein list (P)
Eg bacon - p, egg - p. Tomatoes & mushrooms - s.
Snack on fruit or veg or P foods. Check the list as bananas some berries & pineapple aren't s foods.
Eat no rice pasta potatoes grains etc on that day.
Pick 1 a & 2 b choices.
That's it.x
