I have no excuse... really must go to bed, but staying here less effort than getting my ass to bed tbh

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
Octothechildherder · 30/01/2008 23:43

Because dh has got ds3's sickness bug and ds3 has just woken up for the 4th time tonight! and someone on mn is trying to do a terry fold ...

fortyplus · 30/01/2008 23:43

Because it's not even midnight yet?

Because I don't have work tomorrow (though I'd probably still be on here if I did)

Because my children sleep all night now - bliss!

Beauregard · 30/01/2008 23:43

I finished work at 9pm ,got home at 9.20 and by the time i had a bath etc it was 10pm so i am still trying to wind down.
Viscious circle though.

because it's not bedtime yet

SlightlyMadShrek · 30/01/2008 23:46

Because DP is out and I have to do the nighttime chores (packed lunches, dishwasher, heating, lock up etc.) and MN is more exciting than all of those....even when active convos isn't moving cos everyone else is in bed.

I really should go to bed, I have had 2 rediciculous nights sleep

discoverlife · 30/01/2008 23:46

Because Ive got Bronchitis and a really painful earache and can't lie down or I cough so bad I'm sick.

flowerybeanbag · 30/01/2008 23:46

I am in bed with my laptop keeping myself awake until DH gets home, he's been watching West Ham trounce Liverpool

TigerFeet · 30/01/2008 23:47

I am waiting for the washing machine to finish otherwise dd will have no uniform for tomorrow [dull housewife]

MissMalaprop · 30/01/2008 23:50

Because my feet starting itching just as I was getting off to sleep, and I annoyed dp so much with my twitching and scratching he banished me from the bed.

ZippiBabes · 30/01/2008 23:50

oh i am in bed working

PeachesMcLean · 30/01/2008 23:50

Flowery! You're the queen of the employment board but your name has just reminded me of work! Arrgh!

Hello though

I'm here cos I'm crap and can;t make my sorry ass get to bed. no excuse

SlightlyMadShrek · 30/01/2008 23:51

I don't like going to bed on my own and DP won't be in till 1-2am

flowerybeanbag · 30/01/2008 23:51

Sorry Peaches!

NewYearNewStart · 30/01/2008 23:52

Cos i'm itchy, itchy, itchy and can't sleep! (scratching emoticon)

PeachesMcLean · 30/01/2008 23:54

Will let you off, this time Only cos of previous good advice

flowerybeanbag · 30/01/2008 23:56

Phew!

Twinklemegan · 31/01/2008 00:06

Because you are all such stimulating company I can't drag myself away.

Hobnobfanatic · 31/01/2008 00:21

Because the fecking cat brought in a mouse, played with it, and lost it under my bed. I'm too cowardly to face going to sleep!

Twinklemegan · 31/01/2008 00:23

LOL, that happened to me once when DH was away. I had to go to bed in the end and then I woke up later when I heard scratching. I ended up catching the damned thing and taking it down the garden at about 3 in the morning. Feel better?!

just about to go to bed.

had to get some stuff done - bake flapjacks, fold clothes, do dishes, get the coffeemaker ready for the morning.

also there's a big gale coming through and it keeps waking up the DDs.

brimfull · 31/01/2008 00:26

I have a terrible habit of waking up in the evenings then staying up way too late.Always regret it,but has been a lifelong habit.

anorak · 31/01/2008 00:26

Because I live in Bermuda and it's only 8.26pm here
