DS (2y10m) has been a crap sleeper since he was moved to a bed
Now he wants to join us at every night waking and wails if refused (and wakes the baby)

I have been slack over Xmas and have been giving in for the sake of peace and quiet.
But I don't get any sleep with him in the bed.

Are there any solutions that don't involve him wailing?
DH is talking about putting a bed on the floor in our room for him but I think he'll just want to get in ours

Can't help on the drinks front
I do offer warm milk if he wakes before I go to bed as it's supposed to make them more sleepy

Alas tonight nothing is working and now I have both children up

Thanks both for your feedback.

It is very tempting as I do have a huge bed and love having DD in with me when I wake up but I just dont get enough sleep and dont think she does either now.

We have skipped a few mid day naps which seems to make things worse as she gors into a very deep sleep at first then wakes about mid night!

Litle monkey, I think she just knows I'm giving in to her right now so guess I should just bite the bullket and put a gate up and keep perservering..

It doesnt help that we both have colds and she has a broken colarbone, hence the feeling guilty and giving in!
