My DD has quite a head of hair now! She has a bath before bed so its still wet when she goes to sleep, do you think thats ok? Is that what everyone else does?
I towel dry it but thats it!

I bought bath hats from amazon. They are made of towelling material, and soak up all the water. I tangle teeze the children's hair after a bath, and put these hats on them. It dries after a couple of hours, sometimes they go to sleep wearing them (saves the pillows getting damp).

@IHaveBrilloHair

I don't like it myself but there's nothing wrong with it. Fragile hair/mouldy pillows? Ha, what nonsense.
Fragile hair - it isn’t nonsense , it’s basic hairdressing. Please don’t be rude - look it up. This is why you shouldn’t rub your hair with towels to dry it, and why you should only use particular brushes when wet.

@FTEngineerM

hair breaks easier.

Is that scientific?
I ask because my hair was touching my ass, and thick as hell and no split ends before I cut it few weeks ago, I never blowdry my hair.. ain’t got time for that. Mostly I go to bed with wet hair but sometimes I do it in the day.

Wake up curly and thickkkkk

Yes it is.

It may well be that the lack of using heated appliances will have helped. They generally smooth the hair fibre down, which doesn’t happen quite as much when left to air dry.

It’s best to gently scrunch the hair to dry, never rub. Even better is to use a cotton T-shirt, it’s kinder to your hair and you’ll have even better curls

I didn't mean to be rude but as the owner of head full of ridiculously fine hair, I've never noticed this.
As for this pillows, wash them.

My ds (5yo) has long hair that gets washed every night, he always goes to bed with wet hair. No problems so far.
