so, if you had a ds (just turned 2) who woke at 5:30 or thereabouts every morning (and you'd tried everything that wise mners might advise wrt blackout blinds, noise, etc etc etc)...

... would you cut his nap right back, say to 45 mins or an hour?

motherinferior · 06/06/2007 11:45

I would think FFS when the alarm went off, fix a smile on my face and start my day

cbeebies is on at 6am you know

I fought this and then came to my senses, get up, start your day

I did a thread a while back

ProfYaffle · 06/06/2007 11:45

Yes.

Kathyis6incheshigh · 06/06/2007 11:45

yes, worth a try

(I was in same boat but got lucky with wise MNers - in our case it turned out to be the birds in the ivy making a racket.)

love your name btw.

AngharadGoldenhand · 06/06/2007 11:45

Yes.

IdrisTheDragon · 06/06/2007 11:46

No

snowleopard · 06/06/2007 11:46

Yes, but that in fact is the length of nap he has anyway - 45 mins-1 hour. He sometimes does wake early anyway, which I reckon he will until he drops the nap altogether. What works best for him is loads of exercise and fresh air.

Sorry totally failed to keep it to yes/no

InternationalMouseOfMystery · 06/06/2007 11:47

And Enid none of mine napped after 12 months LOL (as ds1 and ds2 have a 13.5 month age gap could have happily done with one as well)
