Is 12 weeks too young? Ds wakes three times a night despite good daytime sleep routine and only falls asleep on the breast or in the pram. When should I start to get tough? Didn't do controlled crying till 6 months plus with first child, she didn't sleep through until 11 months. Am the walking dead at the moment and can't bear the thought of many more months of this (with 2 to look after this time). Someone told me that Michael(?) Ferber is good - is it worth buying his book?

Nights are still scary ... never know when she will wake, then when she does I try to settle her, but if it has been 3-4 hrs after last feed then I feed her . Last nnight was lazy and fed her 3 times instead of the two. She also has a tendency to wake on the hour after 4am (sigh !) no idea why . Maybe teething ???? Slept on floor in her room last night as cldn't be bothered to creep to and fro all night.

What shall I do ??? !!!!

Well saort of.. he generally has about 30 mins anythime from 3.30 to 5pm. Don't generally put him in his cot for this... well he wont be this small for much longer so am I such a bad mummy for letting him sleep on me?

As for feeding you DS lots and letting her sit in front of the stelly for a short while, do what ever makes you both happy and you are not a bad mummy!!

How many weeks is she now? 14? Better go, DS is stirring....
