After three attempts to leave a message on this thread I have to start again.

Codswallop - you still have the hacking bronchial cough to come and total loss of interest in food to come. I'm sure it won't be long before DS2 catches another cold.

We were going to sleep in the lounge last night, got the inflatable bed out ready and then discovered the pump wasn't charged and which point we threw our hands in the air and went back to bed. He woke at 4am, bfight eyed and bushy tailed.

"lubuo" doesn't have the same ring does it?

I shall just have to be unfashionable

codswallop · 01/11/2003 20:44

I am leaking still - no feeding for ? 10 days....

codswallop · 01/11/2003 20:46

Br ollo - try an drawer?!!
Have you a carry cot thats bigger then a moses basket?

lubu · 01/11/2003 20:48

No the power cut just lasted all last night but the computer would not work again until this evening. Some people have had no electricity for 24 hours, they disconnected us to mend the supply. Disappointed that computer restarted - was hoping to claim nice new one of power supply company.

Probably very similar to Uzbekhistan here.

codswallop · 01/11/2003 20:49

In england?

lubu · 01/11/2003 20:55

Yes in England - have to confess to not knowing where Uz*stan is but assuming inhospitable with no shops in walking distance

Hardly fed her in last 4 days and left boob was starting to hurt so gently insisted that she had a feed tonight! Feel quite sad now, will never breastfeed again. 7 months ago I couldn't wait to give up.

Beccarollo · 01/11/2003 21:22

could try a drawer but argos flat pack just isnt deep enough for the little porker - carrycot no good as i invested in groovy jane matrix system which is quite pants actually and no bigger than said argos drawer - im thinking of moving into the loft and leaving kids downstairs

codswollopo sounds even better than beccarollo i'd go for it

codswallop · 02/11/2003 13:39

Cant you borrow a carry cot? Very use ful - failing that a hammock in the loft for the baby!

Beccarollo · 02/11/2003 13:45

do you think the carry cot would be much roomier than a moses? i hadnt thought about it - think i still have DD's in the loft

would i do lasting damage sleeping him in a girly bed?!

codswallop · 02/11/2003 14:11

No it will develop his feminine side

codswallop · 03/11/2003 09:24

Bad night as all are ill, well ds3 and ds2

motherinferior · 03/11/2003 09:49

Here in the Inferiority Complex babe woke regularly. Dummy. Dummy. Should we deprive her or wot, I wonder. Could soooo have done without this before first day back at work...

lubu · 03/11/2003 09:51

Ds has caught your cyber cold again and was awake several times last night with hacking cough. Dreading it turning into bronchitis again.

Dd slept till 5.30am had a leisurely feed and then went back to sleep in her cot until - 8.30am!!!!!

ds woke her up as he ran into our room croaking "time to get up now mummy". He is now asking to go to the doctor who will make him better.

Beccarollo · 03/11/2003 10:24

Great night from 8.30 til 4am where he decided to laugh and gurgle for a couple of hours before dropping off at 7 - 15 minutes before I had to get up with DD

UGH

codswallop · 03/11/2003 10:41

codswallop · 03/11/2003 13:22

Is yours sleeping now mI?

Beccarollo · 03/11/2003 13:27

pph do you wake him to do a late feed at 10 or 11 or is he going right from bedtime? every night i cant decide whether to tank him up or not

kaz33 · 03/11/2003 13:36

Still here, last night fed at 11pm ( which he normally does without opening his eyes ). Woke at 3am, left to scream for an hour and a half and then went back to sleep till 7am. Tonight, hopefully he won't scream for so long !!!

You see I am planning my exit strategy.
