Neck buff/snood

Can anyone recommend a decent neck warmer at a reasonable price? I've just bought a seasalt handband but not sure it's going to be warm enough (I'm new to skiing so not too clear about what I need).

Just go to Go Outdoors or Decathlon and get any of them. It’s good to have a fleece one that also has a cotton section as that’s really flexible.

We used the lightweight stretchy ones, they're cheap in eBay. DH and I use the for running/cycling and they were plenty warm enough for skiing too.

I have never used one. When and where are you going?

I love them, I'm sure Mountain Warehouse do them too.

You might not need one depending on where and when you’re going. What trip do you have planned?

Take them anyway, even if you're not going until spring. We had a couple of bitterly cold days last April and were very glad of them - the wind was biting - we ended up putting them over our heads/mouths with helmets on top.
