Offline earlier this evening

Mumsnet was offline for several hours earlier this evening. This was due to a hardware fault on one of the several servers used to run the site. Thanks for the various emails of moral support, offers of virtual biscuits and the amusing conspiracy theories.

slubbs, I didn;t get the message at forst tho, I got one that said that the internet could not find MN, maybe it was offline or I had typed the address wrong (the standard internet cannot find webpage one).

I then did get the message, but due to sleepyness and me going to bed almost straight after, I did wonder if it was me having nightmares....

am glad that was not the case
