I think this place works so well because it is huge and it is anonymous and has loads of namechanging.

Don't think you can have it both ways really. There are plenty of privater places, who really can read through all those postnatal etc. threads?

NM has a message thing where you can send private messages to one person at a time - like CAT without the middleman...

I found it quite dodgey at times though - people used it to spread gossip and pick on vulnerable posters

Imagine the fun troll hunters would have behind private messages closed doors!
