Those who follow the style and beauty threads will have just heard (y'know how they like to be ahead of the curve ) that we're starting work on MNTV.

So we're looking for volunteers who're up for being filmed talking about the topical bunfights du jour -from swine flu to Cbeebies, nits to baby names, stretchmarks to Strictly...
(you get the picture, I'll stop now as I have a tendency to over-alliterate)

Please post here and let us know that you're up for it.

Thanks
Mumsnet DarkTowers

I would be more than happy to demonstrate making the perfect Victoria Sponge Cke (high sift included).

Bramble's dh is just two doors down and he has cameras and everything.

In fact it could be a two parter. Bramble could do chicken husbandry and then bring a few eggs round (action sequence) and I could commence on the cake.

It would be SPECTACULAR.

MsHighwater · 30/10/2009 21:41

I'd do it if you had a Scottish studio

KiwiKat · 30/10/2009 22:18

I will if I can wear a small black velvet mask with strategically-placed feathers and the odd sequin.

mamas12 · 30/10/2009 22:34

Me too, me too!
I am an older mum, I think the technical term is elderly primagravida
Although I did find out that I am actually the same age as ds friends granny! [grr]

Not really painting an attractive picture for t.v am I. But I promise I won't crack the lens or anything, but I can't promise not to crack a few heads together if I get my own jeremy kyle style chat show .

Opinionated and bossy, although it hasn't shown up on here too much!
Have had enough life experience and consumer experience to know everything

I can also be the credit crunch 'make your old clothes into new ones' restyling and remaking/updating existing wardrobes (a la Twiggy programme)for all the family.

Can I do it then? Please.

VaginaShmergina · 30/10/2009 22:34

PurlyQueen · 30/10/2009 22:35

toddlerama · 31/10/2009 10:20

Oooh can I be in it? I want to be on TV. I'm bored.

BecauseImWorthIt · 31/10/2009 13:25

Or I could be your on-the-spot reporter from Wimbledon each summer?

eclectech · 31/10/2009 15:13

Not in person, but if you find a topic that no-one's willing to talk about on screen (the mind boggles) I could possibly do an animation.

sausagerolemodel · 31/10/2009 15:41

I don't want to be in front of the camera, but I have over a decade and a half of TV producing experience, so if there's anythingI can help with on that front, please feel free to ask/email.

mummybear1104 · 31/10/2009 21:15

Dysgu · 31/10/2009 21:34

Count me in - if you can include the Isle of Wight... it's not that far.

what is MNTV and what would it involve please.

Holymoly321 · 01/11/2009 17:10

Well depending on where it will be filmed etc, I would def be up for it - that's if people aren't already sick of seeing me on the Waitrose films!

Holymoly321 · 01/11/2009 17:35

I also have over a decade experience producing and directing TV (I had nothing to do with the production of the Waitrose films - was just a 'bod'!) and would be happy to help out.

bramblebooks · 01/11/2009 18:11

I am totally up for that Slubber. As long as I get to be chief taster.
I could also do yummy gluten free stuff and we could model the rubber cookware.
DH could phase in DS1 to do 'run vt' stuff and point the fluffy gerbil thing at us.

bramblebooks · 01/11/2009 18:12

btw, I currently have a heavily moulting chicken in my downstairs loo. We could do feathercraft followed by household hygiene
(Have I mentioned yet that I am going to meet Gordon Brown at Downing Street in a week?)
off to start a new thread!

cvyes · 01/11/2009 21:17
