Those who follow the style and beauty threads will have just heard (y'know how they like to be ahead of the curve ) that we're starting work on MNTV.

So we're looking for volunteers who're up for being filmed talking about the topical bunfights du jour -from swine flu to Cbeebies, nits to baby names, stretchmarks to Strictly...
(you get the picture, I'll stop now as I have a tendency to over-alliterate)

Please post here and let us know that you're up for it.

Thanks
Mumsnet DarkTowers

Reporting from above the artic circle, this is QuintessentialShadows

"Today mothers are wearing wooltrimmed reindeerskin boots for the school run as the roads are icy and the weather cold. While youl look stylish and keep snug in a mink coat, it is still thankfully a faux pas, and most descerning mums prefer to wear a simple wool coat with a fake fur trim, whereas the sportier, and some say more sensible types, opt for the Haglöfs down jackets. This is all we have from the arctic circle. Fathers are seen wearing paint stained dungarees, t-shirts and a wool beanie"

Absolutely - any excuse to -argue- have intriguing intellectual debates.
I always feel a pressing need to take over the Jeremy Vine show whenever it's on...

Thanks for making me feel welcome SimonHowl.

Mums come from all professions you know...as this is my job I know I would enjoy it, which is why I put my name down.

Sometimes the journalist-bashing on here gets on my wick - my job doesn't necessarily make me evil you know...
