Yes, yes, we ARE having a Hallowe'en name-change competition!

We have heard the not-so-distant grumblings about there not being a Hallowe'en namechange competition this year.

So now there is!

All you need to do to enter is check in your Hallowe'en name by posting on this thread. Please tell us your usual nickname too, so we can chortle at how spookily witty your namechange is.

We will then draw up a shortlist of the best names (no quibbling with the judges, please) - and bung 'em in a poll, so you can all vote for the one you want to win.

There will be a fabulous prize for the winner (and maybe a smidgeon of something for a runner-up or two). Details to be announced once we've got our act together soon.

Thank you - and good luck!

GeraldineMumsnet · 31/10/2009 19:44

Oh dear been so busy enjoying Haribo Halloween that we've forgotten to post and congratulate ABatDead who flapped home in first place with 107 votes, followed by ScaryMotherWhoScreeches with 79 and Mamazonabroomstick with 78.

Fabulous prizes have been promised and just as soon as everyone comes back from trick or treating we'll let you know what they are
