And this time it's not about quality, it's about quantity.

Is there a Lidl or an Aldi in your area, or both? Which do you reckon has more stores?

One lidl no aldi that I know of

Both near here.

Both, but there are probably about 4 Aldi's in the city, less Lidls that I know of.

Three Aldi and one Lidl.

one brand new Aldi and 3 lidl in our town. I think aldi is the bigger chain, but two branches have closed down where I live in the last 10 years, although i think aldi shopping is seen as more of a valid choice these days

We have both within 6 miles.

None here as far as I know of.

I see a lot more Lidl's when I'm out and about though.

We have an Aldi near here in 1 direction...and one of them (can't remember which) in the other.

As an aside - Aldi seems posher.

Aldi are one of DHs clients. Apparently are planning something like 300 new stores in the north of England in the next 10 years.

we're getting an aldi soon, and I am very pleased. There is both opposite each other in a town about 7 miles away though.

I can get to 3 Aldis within 15 mins but one Lidl.
