Why does MN keep breaking?

It's happened a lot over last few days

It's because you've neglected your housework/children/significant other. As part of the last revamp, a new feature was added to suspend access for those MNers who have been particularly lax with their Other Duties.

so not only have i been outed as a slattern, i have somehow managed to combat time travel ... I'd say thats a pretty productive morning!

There's been a problem with the data centre but we have tech on standby. If there are any problems he's getting to them as quick as possible.
Rather like the idea of Doctor Who appearing any moment though!

It is odd, HQ said the YetMoreTech was on it so, hopefully, it will be sorted, although I am getting the impression it is higher up the chain than MN so I don't know how much they can do.

MNHQ, I am not sure if you know this, during all these periods of down time there is no MN "be back soon" page, it is just a standard cannot display page. Well, it is for me anyway!

I was trying to get onto MN between about 2-3pm but kept getting "oops. Link is broken" message (but not the MN version) -was it down for everyone then?

Was 'down' for me too. Message was Internet Explorer cannot connect.....

Had to go away and eat chocolate to cope with the withdrawal symptoms
