Who wants to test the new 02 Joggler (interactive family organiser worth £149.99)? We have 25 up for grabs

Given that you were all of a jiggle about the O2 Joggler we approached 02 and in an exciting turn of events, they've agreed to let 25 mumsnetters road-test their new interactive family organiser (worth £149.99).

You don't have to be an 02 customer to test it, but they have asked that you have at least one school aged child if you want to take part in the product test. For the chance to give it a whirl, click here

For more product information or if you want to know what 02's mum blogger thinks click here

Good luck

( next ot ann summers)

bramblebooks · 23/05/2009 23:04

I shifted my number from tmobile to 02 when I changed.

No crow increase as yet shineon and there's a rookery over the road from us in the wood. All they encourage is us to bring our meals outside so that they can jump on our laps and steal our food.

gigglinggoblin · 23/05/2009 23:07

I have just found out if you have an 02 mobile you can set up a calendar online and get reminders sent to your mobile. Hope the joggler has more features than that, especially as I am no longer on O2!

AnnMumsnet · 24/05/2009 00:56

We got all your emails guys! All 25 who were orginally recruited and emailed have responded - your names and (some very lovely sounding) addresses are securely on a spreadsheet and the jogglers will be ajiggling on their way to you all next week!
Ann, chief spreadsheet keeper

bramblebooks · 24/05/2009 07:45

I am so excited still (apart from my still niggling worry that I'll be busy assessing policemen's musculature in Italy and miss my delivery!).

Very interesting mental image of jogglers jiggling their way next week!

Thanks Ann.

KingCanuteIAm · 24/05/2009 08:09

For those of you not on O2, would you like me to request one of those free PAYG sims so as you can give those features a try?

I don't mind sending them out to people if they are happy to give me their addresses.

Thanks Ann that has put my mind at rest

[excited emoticon]

whoops · 24/05/2009 08:28

Thanks Ann!
Bramble that sounds interesting!!!
I am on o2 and am tempted to change dh to o2 too so that he can use the calender feature so that it can remind him to give ds his medication in the evenings when I'm at work!!

Joggler · 24/05/2009 10:33

my address isnt lovely

LupusinaLlamasuit · 24/05/2009 13:17

KingCanuteIAm, please do tell more about free O2 demo sim thing [am too old mobile phone idiot]... so I could keep my original network, switch to O2 to test the Joggler, try full features blah blah blah...?

For free? Do you work for them or summat?

fruitshootsandheaves · 24/05/2009 14:39

Its like Christmas here! OHH I can't wait.

Does it come gift wrapped???

But its MY present ALL MINE and DH can keep his techy, fiddly, always installing useless more software fingers OFF!!!

fruitshootsandheaves · 24/05/2009 14:40

PS thank you MNHQ

suwoo · 24/05/2009 17:07

Yes, thank you MN towers.

My address is just your bog standard type, no 'Bramble Cottage' etc for me.

KingCanuteIAm · 24/05/2009 18:28

Lupus, you can get free sims, they are PAYG (pay as you go). Hopefully you should be able to put them into your current phone and try out the joggler a bit then put your old sim back in. It won't work for everyone as some phones are stuck to their network but the only way to find out is to try it and, as the sims are free, nothing ventured, nothing gained

Let me know if you want one.

suwoo · 24/05/2009 18:50

Ahh, I am an O2 customer too, so if anyone wants me to get some sim cards too, then LMK.

I've only just switched to them this month so not really familiar with everything yet.

gigglinggoblin · 24/05/2009 19:38

fruitshoots your dh sounds like mine! I also do not have a lovely address, but I want one now [never satisfied emoticon]

KingCanuteIAm · 25/05/2009 01:39

Right, I decided to order the Sims just incase, they take a few days to arrive so I thought it made sense to have them ready.

If no-one wants them I will just freecycle them so nothing lost there!

If you do want one either CAT me your postal address or leave me you email address here!

BecauseImWorthIt · 25/05/2009 09:15

I have won one! Hurrah!

Thank you Mumsnet and thank you 02!

I have no recollection of what I wrote, but I suspect I have been chosen because I am an old gimmer to represent the older demographic.

I'm now worrying about my technical abilities. Do I have to read a manual?

Joggler · 25/05/2009 09:45

oh god i am lost now what with sim cards.
am vodaphoone

someone sort me out

dizzydixies · 25/05/2009 09:54

WAILS so I didn't get one then, do you people not realise the mess I'm in here?!?!?!?

[weeps][wails][suck it up emoticon]

KingCanuteIAm · 25/05/2009 10:00

Joggler, CAT me your address and I will post one out to you. Then you can use it if you want to.

KingCanuteIAm · 25/05/2009 10:20

Just a thought Joggler, if you are worried about your privacy (although you do "know" me of old you won't recognise my current talk name) I am quite happy to post to MNHQ or another person you trust to be sent on to you?

Joggler · 25/05/2009 12:34

no not at all
i dont understand how a card works wiht my current montly paying phone

LupusinaLlamasuit · 25/05/2009 13:19

I will CAT you shortly KCIA, but my sub has run out and need to find credit card...

BIWI, woo hoo.

Anyhow, I think we could use this thread to, erm, panic help each other out about which button to press

Online, it appears you have to sign up to O2 Calendar which you upload from your PC to the Joggler? Or can Joggler be freestanding?

I will be interested to see if it can interact with any other software: me and DH use Palm PDAs and are sad enough to 'beam' appointments to each other of an evening. A very slow one, obviously

Probably not though, eh? It will presumably be in O2's interests to try and get us to use their smart phones instead...? Or maybe a bigger market if it can interact...

BecauseImWorthIt · 25/05/2009 14:28

The calendar I have on my BlackBerry (on 02) is linked to/synchronised with my Microsoft Office calendar. Do you think the Joggler will work with this, or will it create its own?

Lupus - woo hoo indeed!

KingCanuteIAm · 25/05/2009 15:06

Ok Lupus

Joggler, if you have an old phone around you can just put the sim in there for the purposes of trying out the text features. If you don't then the only way you can try it is to take you sim out of your current phone and replace it with the O2 one. As long as your phone is not "locked" to your current network it will connect to O2 and you can try out the features - but - it will mean you can't use your current number whilst you are trying it so I would recommend you just try it out one evening to explore the features and then put your usual sim back afterwards.

As I say, some phones are locked to the network and it won't work if that is the case.
