Hulababy · 12/05/2009 19:42

I have downloaded it onto my computer and DD's laptop too.

I have set my settings for my laptop to unmonitored and to not have any of the word/site list options checked. I have 24 hour access too.

For DD's laptop I have set some word/site list restricions. Not had full chance to set it yet.

Was concerned that it even popped up a message warning em of one site (Facebook) just because it included the word princess though It did let me see the site though, just warned me.

BONKERZ · 12/05/2009 19:42

i have downloaded it on mine and DS/DH computer.
I have managed to turn it off on mine as was making everything run slow.
Am still jiggling with the settings though cos DS was playing on pet society earlier and his pet JACK jumped OFF something and it flagged up notice cos of the words JACK OFF!!! LMAO
DH hasnt noticed it on his laptop so i will see how it goes....it is a bit like spying though

Hulababy · 12/05/2009 19:53

I tel a lie - I had something clicked on mine still (porn I think) It keeps bring up a warning message on Mn all the time - nipple, porn, pee, etc all flagged up.

Have turned that tick off too now so will see. Think it can take up to an hour to kick in.

gill89 · 12/05/2009 20:36

i think i need to spend time reading all the info.

it isn't doing anything with msn ... ought it to be?

OP posts:
gill89 · 12/05/2009 20:37

OP posts:
gill89 · 12/05/2009 20:39

It is flagging up stuff - MN is a source of all evil as far as I can see!

I've checked reports and it tells me websites which have been flagged, but loads of them must have come up invisibly because I ain't been there - nothing particularly bad, in fact they all seem quite innocuous, but CS doesn't like them.

I thought I'd set it to work invisibly - it isn't

I thought I'd told it not to bother me at all - it does

I haven't checked out dd's settings as she hasn't been on the m/c today, but I'll log in as her tomorrow and see how hysterical it gets, when I have told it to do stuff.

Doesn't like me using google and gets very upset when my mouse rolls over search results.

foofi · 12/05/2009 21:17

I LOVE it so far! I set it up on dd's laptop today while she was at school and got it working invisibly and can now see what she's up to!

foofi · 12/05/2009 21:19

I agree the warning messages were annoying at first - you turn them off in settings - make sure you click 'update' at the bottom.

Hulababy · 12/05/2009 21:29

I have it all turned off and unclicked on my laptop, and have logged on and off of my laptop and the site, but still getting warnings constantly.

MN is evil quite clearly!

If it doesn't stop I shall be forced to uninstall. Will that count as being evaluating it - I tried and got so fed up!

Hulababy · 12/05/2009 21:30

Apparently the word "pee" is used constantly on MN!

foofi · 12/05/2009 21:32

Click on name of user, then user settings, then invisible, then update at the bottom, then you don't get the grey warning messages.

clayre · 12/05/2009 21:34

doesnt like the word "lesbian" either, but i have managed to control some of it, i think, am tempted to put it on dp's laptop to see if he notices!

Hulababy · 12/05/2009 21:42

Had done that but was still getting it. I have now logged on and off again and so far not getting them - fingers crossed.

gill89 · 12/05/2009 22:06

i seem to have got rid of them too but they still keep flashing up when DH is logged on even tho' i haven't aaded him as a user it seems to have done it automatically

OP posts:
gill89 · 12/05/2009 22:07

will see what tomorrow brings

OP posts:
foofi · 13/05/2009 07:06

Gill - dh did say to me (only half joking I think) that he was going to put it on to my laptop so that he could watch what I'm doing while I'm at work!
