Hello and welcome

I've got my dongle working! Woohoo!

Today is a briefing day organised by the G20 Voice peeps.

Am networking like a wild thing. Oh look, there's Michelle O. 'Scuse me.

OP posts:

Oh! Is that her asking a question?

Habbibu · 01/04/2009 11:46

Onebat - is she at tax boy's table?

Lemontart · 01/04/2009 11:46

LOL reading those biogs of the bloggers can be so funny.. so high flying, high tech and then you see who they are blogging for:

" hybrid Tech PR and blogger...responsible for growing Six Degrees' New Media and Digital division... contributor to Mobile Industry Review, is contributing Green Tech Editor for The GIN lady (Green, Independent and Natural) and is about to help launch an online video project....

and the website she is blogging for?? : www. bitchbuzz.com hehehe.

[bush] actually, got no real idea why that reads so funny..

Lemontart · 01/04/2009 11:46

make that a double blush!! not bush fgs!

onebatmother · 01/04/2009 11:47

He's slowed down now, are you catching up pol?

Threadworm · 01/04/2009 11:47

Habbibu has magic powers. She mentions onebat, and onebat appears; the other day she mentioned policywonk, after a long wonk-drought on MN, and policywonk appears. They all crowd round their computers waiting for a summons from the Habmeister.

ahundredtimes · 01/04/2009 11:47

I think that's her in the red cardigan sitting next to Mr Oxfam.

FairyCCTaleEnding · 01/04/2009 11:48

Lunch at 1.00, afternoon tea at 2.45 ... that's the life.

onebatmother · 01/04/2009 11:49

yes at taxevasion mans table - I think. just got a quick glimpse - is that you, glasses girl?

Habbibu · 01/04/2009 11:49
onebatmother · 01/04/2009 11:51

oh my god she spoke! she spoke!

He's very good, taxman, I think

ahundredtimes · 01/04/2009 11:53

She's doing very well. I feel very proud. Go PW!

I am v. fond of Mr Oxfam now, he's good.

KayHarkerIsPlayingWithMitchell · 01/04/2009 11:53

oo,, oo, my computer is actually playing the livefeed!!

Gosh, it's like eavesdropping on really highbrow people.

Lemontart · 01/04/2009 11:54

I have had to switch off the feed, that guy has given me a headache! So dull! Gonna check back later and see if policywonk can regurgitate it all into something a little shorter and more coherent. I want to follow the G20 I really do.. just got the attention span of a gnat today (and yesterday, and the day before...)

Good luck staying awake pw and hope you find some a lot more interesting to listen to than that tax guy!

onebatmother · 01/04/2009 11:54

"G20: It's quite hard, really"

ahundredtimes · 01/04/2009 11:55

She's in a red cardigan sitting at that table Kay. She's doing very well, and has lovely unblemished skin. And good eyebrows. She is doing MN proud.

I have to go and do some work, I want to stay and STARE though. Shall check in later for PW updates.

KayHarkerIsPlayingWithMitchell · 01/04/2009 11:56

oo, they disagreed!

Fundamentally, too!

(I have no idea what about, but golly, it was thrilling)

onebatmother · 01/04/2009 11:56

Pol stop sucking that Werthers original

theyoungvisiter · 01/04/2009 11:56

I think your biog is disenfranchising to baby-led-weaners though, PW.

Puree-encrusted forsooth, where have you been, woman? Spaghetti-spattered, please.

blouseenthusiast · 01/04/2009 11:56

I think she should reveal where she gets her eyebrows done...

KayHarkerIsPlayingWithMitchell · 01/04/2009 11:57

I thought that was her, but I've only met her once.

theyoungvisiter · 01/04/2009 11:58

does anyone think this man is a bit patronising?

"I've got to explain to you what off-shore means"

I thought he was going to tell me something extremely technical but, er, no in summary "it means they are off shore" Cheers mate.

Habbibu · 01/04/2009 11:58

She looks very unimpressed.
