A while ago we asked you for your top tips on surviving/avoiding colds. You may have read the tips here or in a MN email.

If you post the name of the Mumsnetter you reckon has come up with the best tip on this thread, then, thanks to Kleenex Anti-Viral Tissues, you'll be in with the chance of winning £500 of Center Parcs vouchers.

If you've already voted on this thread, don't worry, your name is in the hat.

Some Mumsnetters have more than one tip on the list, so if you're voting for one of them, please specify which tip you're voting for.

Hope you're all clear (and we're not talking nasal passages).

The absolutely final (honest) closing date is midnight Wed 4 March.

I liked this tip - "Echinacea. I take it for a month to boost my immunity. You can also get the drops for children. I haven't had so much as a sniffle all winter" from Sidge.

I think Rhubarb has it right - a bit of TLC for kids but Plantsitters tip for men with man flu or a cold was excellent.

Don't go out. Staying in is the new going out. You have Tesco online and MN - what more do you need? People out there are infectious, avoid them!

I like the saying "feed a cold and starve a fever" any excuse too eat. Why don't we do what men do and milk it, surely we need pampering too !

Wash your hands frequently and teach your family to do the same. Keep surfaces - including piano keys and computer key boards - clean and dry. 3littlefrogs (tip 1).
