I have to scroll down

I am too farking lazy to do that

Is it a blip .. or am I paranoid and its a cunning plan to get rid of the slatterns?

I'm on IE too but I is fick and don't know how to send a screenshot...

compo · 03/03/2009 11:45

I'm on IE too, it is still there and soz but no idea how to take a screen shot either

thumbwitch · 03/03/2009 11:47

IE - can't remember how to do a screenshot, any hints?

madwomanintheattic · 03/03/2009 11:54

it's the ads.

lose the ads. they are driving me crazy.

i'm still doing the waiting for it to load thing and then remembering i need to scroll down.

screenshot? er. not a scooby.

it's just the ad sitting lonely at the right hand side of the page with a nice big white space to the left of it. and then if you scroll down the thread starts just off the bottom of the page.
handy, that.

i'm off to explore whether it is the titles now though. interesting....

thumbwitch · 03/03/2009 12:00

it is every page that has an ad at the top RHS. pages without ads work fine.

thumbwitch · 03/03/2009 12:52

OK, good for the individual threads now, but WHAT HAS IT DONE TO THREADS I'M ON and ACTIVE CONVOS? now the ad appears on the top LHS and mucks up all the thread titles etc.!

mistlethrush · 03/03/2009 12:56

Yes, I was just coming back on the thread to say that the gap was still there when it disappeared on this thread - have gone back and checked, gone on all threads, but add is now on the LHS on the thread titles page

BTW, thank you for getting rid of the big gap - would much rather have ad in funny place on titles list

madwomanintheattic · 03/03/2009 13:25

eeek. eeek. what she said^

thumbwitch · 03/03/2009 13:41

YAY! By George, I think Tech's got it!

PlumBumMum · 03/03/2009 14:07

Yay mines fixed

claireybeemine · 03/03/2009 15:18

Hooray!

HelenMumsnet · 03/03/2009 22:37

Is it fixed for everyone?

mistlethrush · 03/03/2009 22:58
Grin
Trinityrhino · 04/03/2009 08:22

tis going loopy again, also on active

Trinityrhino · 04/03/2009 08:28
mistlethrush · 04/03/2009 08:53

Ok, who was it. That changed something between last night and this morning.... so its all gone wrong again!

JustineMumsnet · 04/03/2009 09:00

Oh no - we thought we'd cracked it - are you all using Classic by the way?

PussinJimmyChoos · 04/03/2009 09:01

I'm using Classic and have the gap

Trinityrhino · 04/03/2009 09:02

it was all fine yesterday

but now the active convos has a huge gap

I'm using classic

mistlethrush · 04/03/2009 09:05

Its the list of the active conversations that's the problem. At least a thread when you bring it up now seems to go all the way to the top.

When it started working again, it was not a MN toddler book advert... I don't know whether that is part of the problem?

Trinityrhino · 04/03/2009 09:22

wooohooo, tis workin , thanks

JustineMumsnet · 04/03/2009 09:23

Tech says:
I've just applied the same fix to active conversations, threads I'm on and threads I'm watching

Let me know if there's still problems

mistlethrush · 04/03/2009 09:35

Yes, does seem to have been fixed again - thanks Tech!
