wrinklytum · 24/02/2009 20:49

Glad its not just me..thought the computer was buggered...

BecauseImWorthIt · 24/02/2009 21:28

I keep thinking that the page hasn't loaded properly and press refresh every time!

hoppybird · 25/02/2009 13:32

Ah, I see others are having a similar problem.

I use Firefox, and I get a blank space where the text hasn't wrapped around the advert BUT underneath the ad, the first username of a thread plus the text appear on top of each other. I am using the 'old' style of MN (without numbered pages for threads).

This error doesn't appear in Internet Explorer.

Hope that's helpul info for Tech.

TheThoughtPolice · 25/02/2009 14:55

Tech / MNHQ are you any closer to getting this sorted ?

BexieID · 25/02/2009 14:58

I use IE and have this problem on the desktop and laptop.

HelenMumsnet · 25/02/2009 15:43

Hi everyone. Thanks for your patience with this.

We're trying very hard to fix this but there aren't very many Techs in the Shed today

The poor saps brave souls who are still Shed-bound are doing their best for you, though, we promise.

TheThoughtPolice · 25/02/2009 15:45

Get the whip out

Make them a nice up of tea and a few biccies to chivvy them on

claireybeemine · 25/02/2009 20:25

Pleeeeeeeaaaaaaaase fix it soon! you'd think I'd be used to it by now but every single time I go into a thread I wait for it to load before remembering that I need to scroll down!

Lilyloo · 25/02/2009 20:27

I on IE and it still doing it here too

ohdearwhatamess · 26/02/2009 14:23

MNHQ - are you any closer to solving this. It is getting really annoying.

ScummyMummy · 26/02/2009 17:25

Aren't the real techs back at work yet? Can't you recall them urgently from whatever fun things they're doing and demand that they fix this or else?

Hulababy · 26/02/2009 20:13

'tis very annoying

moondog · 27/02/2009 00:17

Come on.

Very irritating indeed.

CatherineMumsnet · 27/02/2009 11:50

Hello all, sorry for radio silence. I'm in the office today so shall crack the whip personally.

CatherineMumsnet · 27/02/2009 12:11

Right, I've checked with tech and he has assured me that it's on the list. Do keep reporting it though if it's not yet fixed as it helps us when you flag stuff up.
