And why does Threads I'm Watching go to Shortcuts?

hatwoman · 30/01/2009 23:18

I am - I half like it but can't get classic to work. I like the new look for reading threads but not for looking at lists of threads - but customise is doing nothing for me.

yama · 30/01/2009 23:18

I am now used to it.

I like change though. Maybe not at first .... (but soon and for the rest of your life)

Stretch · 30/01/2009 23:18

Me!!

RustyBear · 30/01/2009 23:18

Because they have lost all the watched threads. Obviously they were not watching them closely enough....

WhatsTheBloodyPoint · 30/01/2009 23:19

I'm a cheerleader.

Without the pom-poms.

And the chants, obviously.

And no short-skirted uniform.

But other than those things, I'm a cheerleader for the new MN.

dragonbutter · 30/01/2009 23:19

I like change too yama.

That was to UQD by the way.

Did f5 not uncramp it for you UQD? Try Shift f5 (or according to some authorities ctrl f5, or if you haven't yet abandoned Firefox, ctrl-R

hatwoman · 30/01/2009 23:22

but can anyone tell me how to get classics back? I've read all the threads but still can#t get it to work. or would telling me be disloyal?

UnquietDad · 30/01/2009 23:22

Rusty - yes, am a Foxer. Done it now - thanks!

Monkeytrousers · 30/01/2009 23:24

I will get used to it

I am an adaptionationst after all

samsonara · 30/01/2009 23:27

I'm all for change!..er but only if I say something needs changing ..yeah I hope I will get used to it and if I don't maybe I'll take a break so that my brain can forget the old way and then I won't know any different.

RustyBear · 30/01/2009 23:29

I remember you were having a hissy fit reservations about Firefox 3 a while ago. Have you sorted it, or are you still getting this?

ilovemydogandMrObama · 30/01/2009 23:30

I heart it! Hated it at first with the small stuff, got my glasses out but then DP did something and now that I can see it, it's great!

hatwoman · 30/01/2009 23:30

Nah, still traumatised after last nights lack of MN and slunk back in with old classic MN, sorry but it works for me.

RustyBear · 30/01/2009 23:34

I will like it IF SOMEONE TELLS ME HOW TO GET EVERYTHING TO FIT ON THE SCREEN. I am sick of scrolling to and fro and it is IMPOSSIBLE to follow a long thread. There's really no point if I can't read the stupid thing is there?

EsmeWeatherwax · 30/01/2009 23:40

I like it, although I hated it at first. I like the white space...

lessonlearned · 30/01/2009 23:44

Rusty where is the blue bar? i'm having the same prob as pixie and about to flounce! it's making me feel sick!
