the new site is giving me a headache.
have to scroll down to read posts because of adverts which take up the whole screen (lengthwise).
and, have lost all my "threads I'm watching"

oh dear, but maybe this is a good thing as I spend far too much time on Mumsnet anyway.

Bye for now. will miss you all.

"comments like the OP's make me so glad i'm not a website project manager any more"

Well if you don't understand about browsers I'm sure it's a relief to others too

snigger · 30/01/2009 19:24

One wonders how you coped when they changed Jif to Cif.

Was sedation required?

Come back, dear, you know you're not that bothered

OhYouBadBadKitten · 30/01/2009 19:24

Onager does CTRL + work for you?

"This morning it was still at the top."

of course it was - everyone had made their morning coffee switched on MN and screamed in fright and then started posting asking what had happened

traceybath · 30/01/2009 19:25

I do understand that some people are struggling with it but i guess for me it brings back those memories of working crazy hours to launch websites and then the only comments being negative.

Its easy to see the bugs which i'm sure they're working hard to fix.

Of course i flounced from another parenting website once they introduced tickers etc so i'm a fine one to talk

OhYouBadBadKitten · 30/01/2009 19:26

I'm not actually convinced yet by Cif. Or Olay.

FAQtothefuture · 30/01/2009 19:27

oh but it's true Marla - I do still get confused by it

Watusi · 30/01/2009 19:28

I can't concentrate on the top post with those little boxes sitting on top of half of it >>>>> yes those ones over there. It's like they are saying 'excuse me, read us first please'

Whizzz · 30/01/2009 19:29

It's hurting my eyes to read it all too. THe font seems grey - after a while it gets blurry

onager · 30/01/2009 19:30

OhYouBadBadKitten and MarlaSinger. TY, it used to until yesterday. Now it's fixed in one size (works fine on many other sites)

I shall just give it a rest until they sort it all out.

francagoestohollywood · 30/01/2009 19:35

I have dodgy margins and I'm loosing my eyesight. Tis blurry.

pinkteddy · 30/01/2009 19:37

heh heh dd asked the other day why 'Jif' was spelt with a C!

piscesmoon · 30/01/2009 19:40

I am glad I am not the only one to find it hard on the eyes-it was nice and simple before!

FeelingLucky · 31/01/2009 13:47

I'M BACK ALREADY!!
Can't seem to live without Mumsnet and the wealth of advice it has to offer - even if it does make my eyes ache to read it all.
