If you've got (or have ever had) a child aged over one and under four please take a minute to fill in our survey about toddlers

Everyone who fills in the survey will be entered into a prize draw to win a stack of fab Bloomsbury books. You'll also automatically be entered into this week's comps (which include amongst other things a fab holiday to Cornwall courtesy of our new partner Baby-friendly Boltholes or an LCD widescreen TV with built in DVD, courtesy of Morrisons).

If your children are now older, and you can still remember what they were like as toddlers, you are still eligible to complete the survey. If you have more than one child you can fill the survey in more than once (and have more chance of winning )

Here's the link again

Good Luck!

PMSL @ "NA: They never do things they shouldn't" when talking about a toddler

IAmTheNewQueenOfMN · 08/01/2009 21:26

I laughed out loud at that too FAQ

TippytheTipsyTurkeychick · 08/01/2009 21:48

I'm quite thick sorry.
So now I've completed I'm in every other competition this week too?

whomovedmychocolate · 08/01/2009 21:57

If you find anyone stating their child never has a tantrum boot them out the comp will you, they've got one of those scary 'shy kid' things rather than a real child

MintChocAddict · 08/01/2009 22:01

'Have you ever bribed your toddler?'

Every single day.

Flamespar · 08/01/2009 22:08

I think I selected having tried every option... and that none of them bloody worked anyway

Flamespar · 08/01/2009 22:11

oh, and that he will tantrum for every option.

DD's was much easier - she is so very black and white we needed fewer options.

whomovedmychocolate · 08/01/2009 22:19

Yeah, where is the option for 'retreated into soundproofed room/drunken oblivion/posted child to inlaws as revenge for all their previous behaviour?'

stealthsquiggle · 08/01/2009 22:34

I ticked every cause of tantrums.

That's not good - or is it?

Off to dredge my DD-addled memory to answer for DS, now.

I not only ticked every cause of tantrum, I added my own under other as well...and she's only 19 months!

whomovedmychocolate · 08/01/2009 23:23

Me too! Carrie @ MN - are you planning to share with us the results of this - we need a larf!?

thumbwitch · 09/01/2009 00:35

Done it - some of those are so funny, does anyone have a child who never has a tantrum or never has a problem eating etc.?

treedelivery · 09/01/2009 00:48

I'm soooo sorry about this but dd age 4 has never really had a tantrum.

She does however only really enjoy eating macdonalds and pringles so serves me right!

thumbwitch · 09/01/2009 00:50

swings and roundabouts, treedelivery - how are you getting on, nearly there?

treedelivery · 09/01/2009 01:05

39 weeks on Monday and facing up to my responsibilities as a soon to be bf mum [i.e. not fitting into my bra's]

All good!! Hello to you and your cute fella!!

ninedragons · 09/01/2009 02:34

Can we foreigners enter if we have a loved one in the UK who would enjoy the prize?

samsonara · 09/01/2009 07:33

Perhaps the survey should have included more months eg 12 months, 18, months 36 months, as I had to put 24months for the "terrible twos" behaviour but really it started around before 18 months for my 2y old, maybe she got a head start from observing her sister who didn't start tantrums till 2 ish!

TheNewYearNewMadHouse · 09/01/2009 08:06

I dont bribe - I now incentivise - pmsl

Pinkjenny · 09/01/2009 09:22

Lord this survey depressed me. I think I ticked every cause of tantrum too! And that she has one most days, er, make that every day, at least every hour!

CharleeinChains · 09/01/2009 10:37

I filled it in........... not that i will win i have only been here 4+ years and never won anything.......... but whatever.

fleacircus · 09/01/2009 10:56

Wish I'd been able to add a note at the end, because DD is only just one so a lot of it doesn't really apply. I must look delusional (but I wanted the prize!).

I can't click on the answers for some reason.

AmIOdetteOrOdile · 09/01/2009 13:19

Yet another one who feels crap for ticking so many boxes!!! Ah well, at least we're honest.

Now, what are the chances of me winning???
