Mumsnet Christmas Card - Vote here, vote now!

Following on from a marvellous thread about what a Mumsnet Christmas card would be like, we've stolen your brilliant ideas and asked our very own, newly discovered super-talented Boco to come up with some illustrations for them. Choose your fave and Boco has promised to colour in the winner so we can send it off to all our Mumsnet friends - Scheherezade, Tony P, Tana, Piers etc - just to make sure they've not forgotten us.

We'll also have them all available for you to send as festive e-cards, thereby saving you valuable pennies in these crunching times.

Remember Vote early, vote often and Merry Christmas, of course.

Ooh thank you Justine! I mentioned on another thread the other day we could do with things we could print off (posters, postcards [for shop windows] and business cards) to spread the word for MN.

guyFAwkesreQuiem · 12/11/2008 00:50

I actually think the names one is very "in house" - I don't hear many coversations in "RL" about baby names.........

buy hey - I've voted for the Stop Fat one

BBBee · 12/11/2008 06:53

i don't think they are 'inhouse' - i think they are indicative of a very certain dry sense of humour which is rife on mumsnet but not exclusive to it.

i would love having some actual real cards / notelets that are not christmassy too - like the zombie plan one. i send a few cards adn would love to source some really funny and personal ones.

hurrah for boco - aren;t we lucky to have her.

NorkyButNice · 12/11/2008 08:00

Love the names one (me and the rest of MN apparently!).

Boco - apologies for not responding to your mail re illustration - you're probably going to get rushed off your feet with requests now, but will set my mind to thinking about a design for DS!

SoupDragon · 12/11/2008 08:03

How could you have left Gina off the list of friends you're sending cards to??

tatt · 12/11/2008 08:34

Soupdragon - but are we even allowed to mention that name without being sued?

JustineMumsnet · 12/11/2008 09:14

Oh Blimey yes, Soupdragon. Clearly I have selected memory loss (I'm finding that happening a lot recently - what does it mean do you think?)

HollyGoHeavily · 12/11/2008 09:20

They are all fantastic - it was a hard choice to pick a winner

Niecie · 12/11/2008 09:58

I voted for the one that made me laugh out loud as soon as I opened it (birthing ball one if you must know).

They are all fabby though. Well done everybody.

RTKangaMummy · 12/11/2008 11:49

DEFFO BRILL

I have voted too

Justine do you have an announcemnet to make to us then?

Swedes · 12/11/2008 11:51

Lovely drawings Boco.

Are these cards meant to be sent between Mumsnetters?

Oh yes Justine, WRT memory loss, in true MN tradition I have to ask "Could you be pregnant?"

Nyx · 12/11/2008 13:08

I am SOOOOO impressed at (a) the card ideas on the original thread, and (b) Boco's illustrations. I've voted (for the 'names' one). Well done all!

RTKangaMummy · 12/11/2008 13:15

Soupy my guess would be yes

Come on Justine please tell us

We are very nosey

morningpaper · 12/11/2008 13:41

I really hope Justine isn't up the duff - I had to go to very extreme lengths the last time in order to drag her back to MN from her maternity leave

JustineMumsnet · 12/11/2008 15:05

OMG do be quiet will ya? If I had any more children they'd be making documentaries about me. I just meant that I'm getting old.

RTKangaMummy · 12/11/2008 15:07

LOL

Sorry Justine

Cammelia · 12/11/2008 15:52

ROFL at Justine "not being able to say anything on here"

morningpaper · 12/11/2008 15:55

See I just ASSUMED you meant you were getting old and decrepit but thought that saying that might seem a tad rude

Cammelia · 12/11/2008 16:04

She didn't admit to decrepit mp

morningpaper · 12/11/2008 16:32

you see this is the sort of trouble I am always finding myself in

Cammelia · 12/11/2008 16:34

You mean your penchant for poetic licence

imnotmamagbutshelovesme · 12/11/2008 17:45

No contest for me.

at the poo result so far though!!!

imnotmamagbutshelovesme · 12/11/2008 17:45

No no no no no no !!!
