Have separate bf and bottlefeeding sections ever been considered?

I spend way too much time on parenting sites generally but I'm a relative newcomer to mumsnet. I joined a while ago but I haven't visited/ posted much. Apologies if this has been covered before but I'm curious.
Compared to other parenting sites I've noticed the breastfeeding and bottlefeeding board here has an unusual vibe. Some conversations seem to get unhappy relatively quickly and there is a real tension between breastfeeding advocacy and mums who formula feed who sometimes feel they are pushed on the defensive.
I just wonder whether it might be easier to support new breastfeeding mums if their threads weren't surrounded by some of these discussions. And similarly a mum who has chosen to formula feed and is seeking advice may not wish to do so surrounded by threads on breastfeeding advocacy.
As this board is a very popular one and there are separate sections for chicken owners/ forces sweethearts/ ebay, I wonder why it's felt better to keep them together?

What's going to happen about this? Is it being considered?

I think it is a good thing that much of the debate re feeding on mn is political we all need to be a bit more political about it whether that be by trying to get more support for bf or trying to ensure good information is available for ff
I am against splitting the boards but do think a change to infant feeding or similar would mean there wasn't a split at the beginning feeding for many women is a continuum that goes from bf to mixed to ff to cows (milk not feeding whole cows although if you do blw that may be something you have tried)

I think there is a group of people who are in the middle ground and they I think may be put off posting by the robust debate that happens when people who are at either end meet
but again one of the reasons I like mn so much is that the debate is robust and informed

OOh yes - call it infant feeding, much better all round.

definitely agree with name change but milk feeding rather than infant feeding as that may get confused with weaning??
think it would lose a lot to have separate topics, although maybe "help with milk feeding" and "discussion around milk feeding" would be a better split, as suggested
