Has anyone taken this matter to Flouncers' Corner? [outraged]

DottyofArc · 30/05/2008 16:34

Ruby!!

Right everyone - how about we all take ourselves off to flouncers' corner and stay there until the scary emoticons have gone away?!

NotABanana · 30/05/2008 16:34

Still can't see anything that different...

looks like it is actually crying though

DottyofArc · 30/05/2008 16:34

Swedes - crossed post - great minds!!

wilbur · 30/05/2008 16:37

Ditto dotty re sad one.

Thanks for pointing this out lapin.

[wilbur tries to think of cool name change and, once again, fails miserably]

CombustibleLemon · 30/05/2008 16:38

They're shitty. Fix them. A pleasant smile is now freaky cross eyed emoticon, a knowing wink has become a serious facial tic and blush is just stupid. Agree that the 'sad' face just looks inappropriate (and turquoise).

MrsWeasley · 30/05/2008 16:39

Could we grow to love them?? perhaps we wore the others out

NotABanana · 30/05/2008 16:39

still looks blue to me??????????????

MrsWeasley · 30/05/2008 16:42

Whats a ticker ??
as in coppertop's "It'll be tickers next"

claireybee · 30/05/2008 16:43

Italics look more italic-y I think

castille · 30/05/2008 16:44

The smiler looks goggle-eyed

EachPeachPearMum · 30/05/2008 16:46

OMG- I assumed it was because I was on DH's computer, using a different browser!
CHANGE THEM BACK FGS!
They are horrific, very msny

TolpuddlapinMartyrs · 30/05/2008 16:46

TheSmiler · 30/05/2008 16:48

I am very sinister

MarsLadyInChains · 30/05/2008 16:48

Moosma · 30/05/2008 16:49

[ shock ] they're nasty!

[ angry ] at change.

MrsWeasley · 30/05/2008 16:51

Thanks but I wish you hadn't = vomit.

Why would anyone want one of those?? They make our new "friends" look kind of "cute"!

Going to wash the computer now

oooggs · 30/05/2008 17:03

hideous [ sad ]

WatTylermoonfiend · 30/05/2008 17:12

What do we want?
civilised emoticons...!!
When do we want them?
Now!!

Hmm, perhapsd I had better perfect my slogan...doesn't flow terribly well...

ArrietyClock · 30/05/2008 17:14

Oh for heavens sake.... they are hideous. Feel like I've regressed 20 years to some hideous reincarnation of my teenage years. Didn't think I would ever have an opinion about emoticons but quite frankly it's enough to bring on a flounce. Guess I've just figured out what that thread is for. Started in a timely manner, don't you think?!

HQ should be careful. If we all flounce to a single thread the site may get top heavy and keel over.....

ChippyMinton · 30/05/2008 17:14

no no no no no no no no

Can we have the old ones back on the 'classic' view at least purlease?

lackaDAISYcal · 30/05/2008 17:30

now if only I could think of a revolutionary name

the sad one is just too awful for words (why is it turquoise???)
