I SO AGREE with you here. It's a busy time of year for nature! So much to talk about and it's quite frustrating- just want a specific board to chat on!! 🙏🙏🙏

I’ve got frog updates, Fox News. Lots of cinnabar moths around and I saw a great spotted woodpecker two days ago. Saw, not heard!

I think the most obvious way to demonstrate demand and also allow us to get on with posting about interesting things is to start threads on The Great Outdoors, perhaps with titles beginning “Nature: “ so it’s easy for other users to spot the threads in Active convos, enables MNHQ to see the activity, and if MNHQ decides a separate board is merited then they’ll know which threads to move in.

I was thinking the same thing.

I've got a bit of time on my hands so I've started an All things Nature thread in TGO topic.

We can start as many as we want! though a general purpose one never goes amiss.

Good idea in the interim, but isn't there another process? We did what @HebeMumsnet asked but nothing since. 😔

I was part of a campaign to get a Chronic Pain topic years ago and we had to prove a sustained interest (as in, people posting over the course of a couple of months or more) so it might take a bit longer.

Chronic Pain is a fairly narrow topic compared with Nature and Wildlife, so I'm confident that we will get there. Even if we just keep posting under The Great Outdoors and eventually have it renamed or threads moved eventually into our own Nature and Wildlife board 😊
