Can I please be removed from the test group and have my account moved back to the paginated version? I really dislike the infinite scrolling, it makes it much harder to navigate the threads and means I end up leaving threads and not engaging with the site. I would have appreciated a heads up that I was being placed in a test group and how to opt out instead of being left to struggle with a frustrating and unnecessary change.

Might depend if those posters ever return after they get put into infinite scroll or if they abandon Mumsnet and never return because it’s too hard to navigate. Loss of members or decrease in frequency and length of visits to the page wouldn’t be a success.

I'm getting Infinite scrolling on some threads. This one for example. My settings are for 25 posts per page. Infinite scroll is awful.

I am viewing a news thread where I haven't posted and suddenly it's kicked me to the beginning again. I just want to read as it fills. Now I would have to scroll through hundreds of posts to find where I was before. Please don't make this permanent, it makes everything worse.

This drives me mad in every app that uses it. Does anyone ever swipe sideways deliberately? I know I don’t as you wouldn’t know what you were getting.

My settings seem to have been changed to 'infinite scrolling'. Please change me back to 'pages'. If you're running a test, I can give you my feedback. The infinite scrolling means endlessly dragging my arthritic fingers across my laptop screen. It makes it very hard to see the end of a thread and I don't have the patience to scroll for 10 minutes. My laptop also slows down with infinite scrolling. It's nigh on impossible to keep up with an interesting thread.

Please remove me from the infinite scrolling! Nobody wants to read every single post on a thread with 300+ responses, it’s far too time consuming.

I saw someone suggest on another thread to change your settings to 50 posts per page and your pages will return. It worked for me so might be worth a try. I would still prefer 25 posts per page but 50 posts is a million times better than infinite scroll!
