Please remove me from the infinite scroll test group.

Can I please be removed from the test group and have my account moved back to the paginated version? I really dislike the infinite scrolling, it makes it much harder to navigate the threads and means I end up leaving threads and not engaging with the site. I would have appreciated a heads up that I was being placed in a test group and how to opt out instead of being left to struggle with a frustrating and unnecessary change.

Please remove me too. It changed today and as previous posters state, it makes me want to disengage.

Same. I cannot cope with it at all. Please remove me

Please remove me. I wondered why I was getting this awful infinite scroll and taking 10 or 20 minutes to be able to actually get to end so it stoped scrolling and I could access this box to write my comment. Awful feature.

A feature like this only works if the box for you to add your own comment to the thread is always available on the screen, otherwise you’re just scrolling forever to get it the end and leave a comment.

Please remove me too. I much prefer pages, so much easier to navigate.

I had to quote someone then remove the quote in order to get to the end to be able to leave a comment! Absurd!

To be fair, you can just hit the “Add post” icon.

JewelleryCat · 25/05/2025 11:00

Hello. Please can I be removed again? Mumsnet refreshed on my browser, I use Safari and my pages have been removed. They had been reinstated which I loved and now I have this scroll which I can’t cope with

scarfaceace · 25/05/2025 11:01

Please remove me too. I HATE it.

To be fair, you can just hit the “Add post” icon.

The add post button looks as though it is a reply to that individual comment. I’ve never used it as I thought it was similar to the quote feature. I was also worried they were going to go the way of Reddit so you can reply to individual comments and then end up with lots of different streams going. It’s a stupid placement for adding a post to the whole thread.

Firstshoes · 25/05/2025 11:35

Please remove me too

BungeeCord · 25/05/2025 11:48

Also now when I click my notifications and it says "60 new posts" when I click on that it doesn't take me to the last post I read but just goes to the end of the thread. I then have to tediously scroll up to try and find where I left off.

SummerIce · 25/05/2025 13:34

Please remove me too.

This thread had several hundred posts - I have no idea how to see the most recent posts without scrolling through several hundred posts of people saying remove me.

JewelleryCat · 25/05/2025 14:23

Thank you, pages are now back 🙂

Heres hoping they don’t disappear again if Mumsnet refreshes on my browser. Also, I’m not sure if it’s happened already (didn’t see it in my settings) but maybe give people the option to have the scroll or have pages

Raquelos · 25/05/2025 16:04

Oh please remove me from this as well, Thank you

FMc208 · 25/05/2025 16:08

Digdongdoo · 25/05/2025 16:38

Thank you!

It really was unusable and it would have put me off using the site.

ThejoyofNC · 25/05/2025 19:36

How do I get them to put pages back on mine? It's impossible to follow a thread.

dontcallmelen · 25/05/2025 19:47

BIossomtoes · 24/05/2025 21:20

Same. I’m so pissed off about this.

They could have at least made a thread in Site Stuff that they were doing this instead of adding it and choosing individual accounts by stealth. I think posters would mind a lot less if we’d been informed this was going on.

Something to think about for the future maybe @JoMumsnet
