Adverts in front of the writing

Now it's jamming the whole page while the huge advert covers all the writing
I've had this for about 2 weeks now .
It's impossible to use the site with huge adverts covering the writing
How do I get Mumsnet to sort it out
This is the 3 rd thread about this issue I've made ,and I can't get Mumsnet to help

Hi there @Springsunflower . Could you tell us what this advert is, or send us a screenshot or url if possible. Or if this is the same ad you've mentioned before, could you post on the original thread again if all the info is there? That will just make it a bit quicker for us to look into this. It's a tablet ..not an expensive one either ,but I've had the tablet a couple of years and this is a recent issue.
It's not doing it on any other site ,only Mumsnet

Please could you take a screenshot and share it with us?

Thanks @Datun . That's really helpful. We're still looking into this but it would be really useful to have a bit more information from everyone.

For anyone having this problem, @Springsunflower @JackieQueen and others, could you please let us know the following if you haven't already:

  • What device you are using - eg iPhone, iPad, Samsung phone etc
  • What browser you are using - Safari, Firefox etc (unless of course you are on the app)
  • A screenshot next time the ad pops up - if you have trouble taking a screenshot you can even just take a photo of the screen with another phone or device and post that
  • The url of the page you were looking at when the ad popped up
  • A description of what you were doing when the ad popped up (eg writing a post, editing a post, scrolling down a thread etc - see Datun's description above, which is very helpful)

Thanks for your help with this. Hopefully if we can gather some more info we'll be on our way to getting this sorted.
