Bookmarks not working

As per title.

I’m clicking on threads I know I’ve bookmarked but getting taken to opening post not the bookmarked one.

Have tried clearing cookies and signing in again but still happening (safari on iph) only noticed it yesterday after not being on for a few days.

(aka I haven’t searched for another thread on this because it’s half seven & I’m feeling grumpy 😂)

Yeah it's happening and it makes the mobile site unusable. For me, it must have started late last night / early hours.

You know I also have been getting a sort of white reloading of threads recently?

Just now on threads I’m on I clicked Onion’s post and thread loaded to OP, then to Onion and then flashed white and back to OP

I hadn’t reported the white reloads as didn’t twig it as an MN issue but since MN is where I spend most browsing time it occurs to me now I’ve took more time away that they are only happening on MN 🤔

has anyone else had this? screen going completely white and reloading the thread?

(might well be just me as I am aware of additional non-MN possibility on my phone but asking just in case!)

God this is so irritating. I have 100 posts per page, so it's bloody irritating being taken to the top when it's on a post in the 80s on that page! 😩

Yes same for me. Using iphone12 safari.

I click on threads I’m watching and it flashes on the bookmarked posts then throws me to the top of that page so I have to scroll down again to get to the post.

Then when clicking on the next op’s post if it’s on the same page it takes me to it, if it’s on a different page it just takes me to the top of that page and I have to scroll through all the posts to find it.

Then I get to it and the page will reload and throw me to the top of that page again.

And as I pressed post on that it just threw me to the top of the page again so I had to scroll down to make sure it had actually posted.

It really is driving me crazy, thanks for looking into it

Yes - same here. Very, very frequent reloading/refreshing that is unnecessary and unwanted that flashes weirdly and takes you to the top of the thread and sticks there.

Sometimes I've clocked on the 'go to bottom' button, and it's stuck.

And meanwhile it's drained half of my iPhone battery in 15 minutes. No other site does this, not even the advert-heavy news sites.

😂@AutumnCrow I thought the battery was just a losing track of time on MN issue but now you mention it I didn’t have to charge it yesterday when avoiding MN!

@BeckyAMumsnet it’s still hit and miss this last hour for me too - do we need to clear cookies or log out & back in or anything for the full fix?

Still sucking my battery dry trying to fill all those advertising blocks.

I've had this issue since before the crashing / freezing issue! The site has been glitchy for various reasons for months on end.

I’m on 4:1:1 just this last half hour or so

4 at bookmark
1 ‘near’ bookmark
1 at OP

0 white screens & battery 100 left it plugged in so 😂

Off for scran & might pop in later to see what’s up then

You're right! I just read to the end of a Page 5 on a thread, clicked on '6', and was taken straight to the bottom of Page 6.

And this was on my laptop, on the Desktop site. Crikey.
