Clickbaity horrible advert (TW: domestic violence)

I just had this absolutely vile looking advert appear in the middle of a thread. It shows a photo of Sara Cox with a bruised face (fake as I have reverse searched the image) and has a red box below saying “now we know that the rumors are true.” (spellings like that). I have screenshot but not sure whether to
post it. It was 08.21 and I’m on Safari on an iPhone 13. Not sure what it linked to as when I came back from screenshotting it the advert had changed.

ETA: it was on the ground rice post, if it makes any difference.

Thanks for all your help in tracking this down. They should all be blocked now but please do let us know if you spot anything like it again that has managed to sneak through.

Hi everyone, thanks for bearing with us while we deal with this awful ad. To help us track it down, can we ask desktop users to right-click (or on Macs, hold down control, then click) where you should see some options - choose 'copy link address' and then please paste it here.

This won't click on the ad but will allow us to track it down and block it faster.

Apologies again for any distress caused.
