P&O Cruises ad

This is a really annoying ad. It pops up over the top of a thread, and you either have to scroll to see what's underneath it, or dismiss the ad. It's awful.

Hi, I haven't accessed the site for a few days as have been away, but first day back and the Ad is still appearing.

Oh the irony, it's just this minute popped up on this thread!
This is a brand new laptop and the ad is appearing on every thread I view. I've only been using this machine 24 hours and the ad appeared the minute I came on to MN.

still popping up over and over on the same page, on several different threads :( is this ever likely to be fixed? It's been well over a month now :(

LilyMumsnet I got this popping up on a brand new machine. It was literally on there from the minute I set up the machine. Surely there would have been nothing in the cache at that point, nor any cookies on there.

Happening every 30 seconds or so.

This has been driving me mad for weeks. It keeps popping up repeatedly on the same page, dismissing it has no effect

Yes, it is very annoying when you have to repeatedly close it.

It's been happening for weeks now, almost 2 months since it was first reported.

Perhaps MN HQ need to hire some new tech people who are able to actually solve the problem?

Afternoon, everyone. Thanks for your patience on this. We've continued to look at this behind the scenes and are hopeful that we're getting there. However, the issue is looking a little more complex than we first thought and we're speaking to an external agency about it all. So it may not be an immediate fix but hopefully it's on the horizon now. We'll update here when there's more news.
