So do only 1, 2 and 3 year olds have sleep problems then?!? Felt slightly ironic filling it out about my 1 year old good sleeper, not my 5 year old bad sleeper (who was also a good sleeper at 1)!!

Nemoandthefishes · 14/03/2008 15:24

Bramshott I thought that too as my eldest is 4.5yrs and a nightmare sleeper.

PortAndLemon · 14/03/2008 21:01

But I think 4 and 5 year olds are less likely to feature in the Mumsnet Book of Toddlers (which is what the survey was for)

CarrieMumsnet · 17/03/2008 12:27

lackaDAISYcal good point about Leeds - remember having much deliberation as to where it should go when getting Local started. Think many moons ago, way before Mumsnet was a twinkle in anyone's eye, someone just decided that Leeds was N east and it's stuck. Maybe we should break the mould and have a North Central!

Bramshott - think there's probably another whole survey on good sleepers turning bad... and indeed bad sleepers who never get good at it..but we did indeed want to focus more on toddlers for this one. Sorry if you felt you couldn't give the whole picture!

We're almost there on the picture books survey but need quite a few more folks to complete the sleep section - so please, if you haven't already done it fill the survey in now

Big thanks to all who've taken the time to complete it and good luck in the draw

Hi all, just a reminder that we need your help with this survey. In return we'll enter you into a prize draw to win £1250 worth of gorgeous, kid's furniture.

Have done survey.

Am now fondly imagining dd's face if she saw one of those astounding wardrobes in her bedroom. Might make her 2nd hand Ikea bunks look a bit shabby though...

AbbyMumsnet · 25/03/2008 15:29

It's all rather special, isn't it?

BumperliciousAteTooManyEggs · 25/03/2008 16:03

Daisy I have the same problem, on some websites I am in the SW and some West Midlands.

Phew, £1250 isn't going to go far on that site. How can it cost so much? Is it hand painted by fairies?

CantSleepWontSleep · 25/03/2008 16:10

I haven't looked at the furniture yet, but am happy to have helped MP with her book. Will we all get a mention in the credits?

BumperliciousAteTooManyEggs · 25/03/2008 16:16

Yes MP, that's Bumperlicious B-U-M-P-E-R-L-I-C-I-O-U-S

So where in the UK is the Ise of Man?

boredveryverybored · 25/03/2008 19:44

IOM is in the north west I think, at least our north west news covers IOM anyway

boredveryverybored · 25/03/2008 19:45

Or maybe it's not in the UK at all

What rank furniture. Still, filled in the survey for my easy sleeping (early rising) toddler. My 4 yr old who still requires hugging to sleep would have given quite a different picture ;).

thank you!

Scotland always appears as "Scotland" on these kind of surveys as well. DO they not realise that Scotland is in fact a country with it's own countys, such as Dumfries and Galloway, and Fife, and Borders and etc etc. Yoiu sometimes get every single county in England listed then Scotland or Wales as another option. take note mumsnet towers
