lackaDAISYcal good point about Leeds - remember having much deliberation as to where it should go when getting Local started. Think many moons ago, way before Mumsnet was a twinkle in anyone's eye, someone just decided that Leeds was N east and it's stuck. Maybe we should break the mould and have a North Central!
Bramshott - think there's probably another whole survey on good sleepers turning bad... and indeed bad sleepers who never get good at it..but we did indeed want to focus more on toddlers for this one. Sorry if you felt you couldn't give the whole picture!
We're almost there on the picture books survey but need quite a few more folks to complete the sleep section - so please, if you haven't already done it fill the survey in now
Big thanks to all who've taken the time to complete it and good luck in the draw

It's all rather special, isn't it?

Hi all
According to our market research bod Ann (who knows about these things ) it's all down to population....Apparently the aim of the game is to make roughly equal sized groups for statistical analysis so Scotland is shown as a single are as only 9% of the UK population live there (4% in Wales) IOM and CI even smaller. That said we'd hate anyone to feel left out altogether so if we can possibly add the CI in (think IOM is generally counted as NW?) we will try....
But think of it another way...You can't have all those rolling acres of blissfully quiet/beautiful countryside/beaches AND expect to be broken down into pieces for a survey... oh no, it's one or t'other
