Hi all - while we've been so far unable to recreate this issue, we're continuing to investigate the cause and the following information is very useful:
1: a screen recording of the issue happening
2: device info
3: browser info
For some users, It could be a browser setting so if you're a Chrome user, please try the following and let us know if it solves the issue for you:
Open Chrome.
Tap the three dots in the top right corner of the screen
Select Settings
Scroll down and tap Advanced.
Tap Privacy and Security
Tap Site settings
Scroll down and tap Background sync
Toggle off the Allow background sync switch for the websites that you don't want to refresh automatically
Here are some additional tips:
You can also disable Chrome's Memory Saver feature to prevent tabs from being refreshed automatically. To do this, open Chrome, tap the three dots in the top right corner of the screen, select Settings, scroll down, tap Performance, and then toggle off the Memory saver switch.
If you're experiencing issues with Chrome tabs refreshing automatically, you can try clearing Chrome's cache and data. To do this, open Chrome, tap the three dots in the top right corner of the screen, select Settings, scroll down and tap Advanced, tap Clear browsing data, and then select the Clear cache and Clear data options.
If you're still having problems with Chrome tabs refreshing automatically, you can try uninstalling and reinstalling Chrome.
For Safari users:
Close all tabs and Safari app. Then try opening a new tab and see if they are having the same issue
Clear your Safari history and website data in Settings
