Site redirecting to an ad

It’s happened about 3 times, as I’m scrolling down a thread it suddenly reloads to one of those ad sites you can’t do anything but close the window to get away from

I’m using the mobile site in an iPhone if that matters

I get redirected to the Lex London site too

Me too - www.leexlondon.com is the seed/initial advert and then it goes onto multiple other sites. Its happened ti me twice now, once yesterday and again just a minute ago.

You cant close the advert, you have to close the page. Im on Apple iphone 12 / Safari.

This is happening to me this morning too. The ads look really dodgy - not legitimate companies.

How is this not being sorted by MNHQ 24 hours later

If I actually manage to finish this post it’ll be a miracle…….

Another one with issues. Redirected to a random website then cannot leave without closing browser. Very annoying.

When this happens @YetAnotherBeckyMumsnet i look in my history and it looks like I’ve been (forced to) visit the site about 30 times. If that make sense. These dodgy sites are listed 30 times in my history every time I’m taken away from MN.
