Just wondering why my ad blocker blocks 'Promoted by Mumsnet' threads but doesn't block 'Sponsored threads' or 'Sponsored Q and As'.
Is my ad blocker (Ghostery) faulty or have MNHQ forgotton to press some button that alerts browsers to the fact that these threads are adverts?

Hi @Random789 Mumsnet is funded by advertising - we don’t allow ad-blocking software and consider it free-riding on the back of other users. You might appreciate therefore that we generally don’t go out of our way to explain or assist users if the blocking software is causing issues on the site, as it often does.
