Mumsnet is now unusable on my iPhone. Started a couple of days ago. I'm getting repetitive strain injury from the endless fucking scrolling to try to get past humongous adverts (many of which are gruesomely awful).

I'm on my laptop now on which I have installed uBlock Origin, a free ad blocker.

Yeah, threads are unreadable on my phone now with a third to half the page covered in car adverts (I don’t even drive). Please can you fix this!

I can’t see a thing expect for clothing adds- the adds are so enormous I can’t even see the picture of the clothes they so desperately want me to buy- just half the blurb about green blouses and gold trainers so some such? Please sort this!

Yep when trying to write a post on Android its fine for a bit but then an ad will take over the top half meaning its difficult to see what I've written.

I’ve had this on my iPhone. I click on a thread and it’s ok for about 20 seconds then a huge advert covers half of the page. Advert is so big it doesn’t even fit on the page. MN is getting really annoying at the minute.

Agreed, really fucking irritating. I am now 100% less likely to buy a pair of black Birkenstocks. How thick is the person who chose this advertising strategy?! I know let’s really fuck off and alienate any potential customers by blocking their WHOLE screen…who doesn’t love being bombarded!!

I came on here to see if anyone else was having this issue and can see I’m not alone! Awful. I end up stuck with a massive advert that I can’t seem to get away from.

I just tried to click into this thread to add my moan and instead was whisked away to Victorian Plumbing as their gigantic ad spread over the screen, who tried to flog me a new toilet. Which was slightly ironic. 🙄

Yep there’s currently a car advert covering half this screen. It’s too annoying to have to miss touching it by mistake all the time so I’m taking a break till it stops. I already have the problem that when I scroll down and hit an ad the whole page freezes.
