I have the animal cylider but its not the baby one. Are we allowed to chat on here or do we have to wait until we have done the online bit in march?

ShinyDysonHereICome · 24/02/2008 14:37

I think we are meant to wait until the feedback session in March...

misdee · 24/02/2008 14:57

we are allowed to chat on here but they did ask us to hold some stuff back for the engineers on the online bit in march.

didn't you get a sheet with stuff to think about?

Twinkie1 · 24/02/2008 15:00

DS was disappointed we only get a hoover - he wanted to bring Camilla home!

misdee · 24/02/2008 15:03

sorry we missed you twink. SGK and I went for a long detour via fulham road .

camilla was lovely wasnt she?

Twinkie1 · 24/02/2008 15:05

Oh right you were the rude ladies I was being kept waiting for!

Hurrumph - am going to ignore you all now and go and watch ER - DH has taken DS to supermarket for me to get some peace and quiet - oh and to hoover the lounge!

misdee · 24/02/2008 15:09

i blame SGK she left the sheet with directins and phone numbers at home

chenin · 24/02/2008 15:28

I love the Dyson I was given (upright DC25 I think). I think it's fab and so much better than my ancient Dyson...

I am emailing Camilla with my positives and negatives on it cos I can't do online chat with Engineers on 10th March as I'm at work with no chance to get to a pc. Camilla seemed happy with that.

CamillaDyson · 25/02/2008 10:00

Ladies - please feel free to chat away - 10th March is a long way away!

Thanks,

Camilla

NeverSayNevertoaDyson · 25/02/2008 11:47

So far so good, I have the Dyson Animal Stowaway DC23. I have a three storey house, and its great for getting up and down the two flights of stairs.

Only major problem so far and I dont think Dyson can improve on it, my Jack Russell lurrrrves try's to hump it!!

Hopefully will have lots of feedback for the engineers on the 10th.

bogie · 25/02/2008 13:12

I have the Dyson Animal Stowaway DC23 too and a 3 story house its perfect for us ds prefers it to any toy and only stops hoovering to eat or use his potty

Tutter · 25/02/2008 13:14

i don't understand

what happened?

[dim]

was there a hoover convention attended by mners or something?

magHOOVERlia74 · 25/02/2008 13:22

I have the Dyson Animal Stowaway DC23 too.
I love it but the suction is soooooo strong I find it hard to use without my back hurting.

Have kept it away from my dog who was eyeing it up through the back door

magHOOVERlia74 · 25/02/2008 13:22

Tutter, some of us are lucky ebough to be testing new Dysons

bethoo · 25/02/2008 15:53

i have the animal stowaway too and i cant fault it apart from one thing i suppose as i think i have to find something wrong with it!!! my littel boy loves it and likes pushing the head not in use around the carpet like a car and he uses it for standing support! my house is little but i have lots of pets!

SparklyGothKat · 26/02/2008 16:50

I have the upright, and love it. Its so good.

misdee · 26/02/2008 16:53

i have the dyson baby dc22 (i think) its a lot smaller than the stowaway. its good but i miss the brushes and the lovely 'plumped' up look that i get with the dc07 upright.

i wonder if i can get a different head for it?

its very good on wood floors, and has been used everyday. i havent had to get the broom or dustpan out all weekend. its saved my back from aching.

FAQ · 26/02/2008 16:54

I've got the DS23 Animal too - arrived today (thank you SOOOOOO much Shiny who called Camilla for me last week and instead of telling her I had to pull out managed to somehow twist her arm to courier it to me ) so far loving it

Only fault I've found so far is I'M CRAP WITH PICTURE INSTRUCTIONS - I like written instructions on how to fit things together/clip things on not lots of pictures - took me quite some time to attach the hose properly .

However since then I've vacuumed downstairs and am at how much cr*p there was! Going to try it on the stairs later once DS3 is awake....

FAQ · 26/02/2008 16:58

10th March??? Is confused as her email (she's just checked it) says 7th March......oh well never mind - is it the same time 12.30-1.30 on the 10th??

ShinyDysonHereICome · 26/02/2008 19:56

Oh it it's 10th March now I'm not sure I can make it but will email Camilla tomorrow.

I struggled with the picture instructions too- took me a lonnnng time to work out how it went together.

Glad you're pleased with yours FAQ- wasn't hard at all as Camilla is so lovely and helpful- she didn't want you to miss out either

FAQ · 26/02/2008 20:09

I'm in lurvvvvvvvvvvvv..........with my Dyson (tried it on the stairs tonight - again more cr*p pulled out - and it does actually stay on the steps without me worrying about it falling down - and we have narrow steps!).

Couldn't come at a better time really - not only is our old vacuum pretty useless, H and I are definitely splitting up and I have brand new shiny Dyson to take with me to whereever I move to

brimfull · 26/02/2008 20:14

I want one.Waaaaaaaaah.

Is the stoaway one smaller ?

I hate my Henry with a passion...damn damn damn...wish I'd seen this thread in time.

misdee · 26/02/2008 20:22

the dyson baby is smaller than the stowaway.

brimfull · 26/02/2008 20:23

god I'm gutted I missed this

ScoobyDYSONDoo · 26/02/2008 20:42
