On my MacBook Air using Firefox a banner appears in the middle of the page and can't be closed or moved. I'll try to post a photo.

Sorry to hear about this. As others have suggested already (thanks everyone!) if you could try updating your browser and clearing cache that might sort it. If it's still a problem once you've done that, drop us another line here and we'll take another look, but those things will eliminate some possibilities so we'll be better placed to make another guess as to what could be causing it.
