@DawnMumsnet , have followed your instructions

Here are the instructions for Safari:

iPhone & iPad
Navigate to your settings
Click on ‘Safari’
Scroll to the bottom and choose ‘Advanced’
Click on ‘Website Data’
Type ‘Mumsnet' into the search box
Swipe left on ‘Mumsnet’ and choose ‘Delete’

But no improvement, if anything it is deteriorating and making it almost impossible to use your site.

Blondeshavemorefun · 09/09/2022 18:10

Ok this has seemed to have worked on safari which I have swapped moving to

but I prefer chrome and that’s still playing silly buggers

Yep, getting that too on safari on an iPhone. Also the constant requests for consent. I’ve tried following MN advice but that had no effect. Every ten pages or so the screen freezes as well, have to back out of the site and go back in. Getting very frustrated but much more productive in real life so 🤷🏻‍♀️

Me too, worse than ever this evening.

HebeMumsnet · 12/09/2022 12:29

Hi @Blondeshavemorefun . Good news. Fingers crossed that's done it. If you have it happening again though, do yell here.

Re the consent issues, and freezing, that others are describing, we are still looking at those. If you've follwed the instructions on the consent thread and updated your browser and it's still happening, for the moment, we don't have a solution but we are working on it as we speak so please do look out for updates. Most users are finding that updating the browser and reselecting the consent preferences as per our instructions does work, but there are a few people still having the issue unfortunately.

Blondeshavemorefun · 12/09/2022 14:52

@HebeMumsnet still ok my end thanks 😄

Hello,

Are you able to try clearing your cache? Flowers

LilyMumsnet · 16/09/2022 18:15

Ignore the above - sorry! Can you try this -

We found the issue that was causing you to see the consent pop up on every page and we’ve now deployed a fix.
Could you all try refreshing your page or opening Mumsnet in a new tab? This should sort it out for you. If you’re still having issues, can you please try clearing your Mumsnet cookies one more time following the instructions below for your browser:
iPhone & iPad - Chrome
On your iPhone or iPad, open the Chrome app
At the bottom right, tap More ⋮ > Settings
Tap Privacy > Clear Browsing Data.
Tick Cookies, Site Data. Untick the other items.
Tap Clear Browsing Data > Clear Browsing Data.
Tap Done
Macbook - Safari
Open Safari
Go to the Safari dropdown at the top of the screen
Select Preferences
Head to the Privacy section
Select the Manage Website Data... button
Type Mumsnet into the search box
Click Mumsnet
Select the Remove button
Select Done
iPhone & iPad - Safari
Navigate to your settings
Click on Safari
Scroll to the bottom and choose Advanced
Click on Website Data
Type Mumsnet into the search box
Swipe left on ‘Mumsnet’ and choose ‘Delete’

I have just found this and glad to find it isn’t just me.

page covering most of Apple iPad saying denied access denied.

I am not very savvy when it comes to technology being nearly pension age and have been asking others, going off the site and on again. I also lose posts and are logged off quite a lot so beginning to get a bit paranoid.

Any help gratefully received.

Thank you I will try that. I do refresh the page but it doesn’t work for long. Not sure how to do some of that but will get some help tomorrow.
